Richard Ochroch’s primary areas of practice are insurance law, commercial litigation, and personal injury litigation. Over the past 40 years, he has represented over a thousand insureds in property insurance cases, resulting in settlements and verdicts in excess of $350 million.
Since 1983, Mr. Ochroch has been the managing shareholder of the Philadelphia law firm of Richard M. Ochroch & Associates, P.C. After receiving his B.A. from Pennsylvania State University, he attended Villanova University School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1975.
He is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association as well as a Fellow of the Academy of Advocacy. Mr. Ochroch was awarded Martindale-Hubbell’s highest designation – an “AV” rating.
Mr. Ochroch has planned courses, published articles and spoken at many seminars and workshops concerning insurance coverage and insurance bad faith.
